Typical Shift
Your day will consist of traveling to the home of your assigned client. Client needs vary so we match Care Professionals’ skills to the clients. You may be asked to do light housekeeping, companionship, outings, medical appointments, showers, toileting, medication reminders, dressing, grooming, oral care, escorting, transferring, or any other ADL or IADL according to the client’s needs. You will NOT be asked to do skilled nursing tasks like administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapy.

Candidate Profiles
Successful Care Professionals come from various backgrounds and skill levels including:

• Experienced career caregivers
• Caregivers or CNAs who enjoy assisted living, or skilled nursing but want a change from a facility
• Must be able to complete a CPR assessment(by getting down on both knees and do 30 compressions and get back up with no assistance)
• Home health, Hospice, or Home Care aides
• New CNA graduates w/6 months of experience of caregiving
• Empty nesters seeking a service-oriented part-time job
• Students
• Future nurses
• Retirees

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of caregiving/or personal care experience
• Covid vaccine NOT REQUIRED!
• Must be 21 years old and able to lift 25 pounds with any assistance
• Must be able to complete a CPR Assessment (by getting down on both knees and do 30 compressions and get back up with no assistance)
• Must have a valid drivers license, a reliable vehicle & proof of car insurance in your name OR listed on the policy/declaration page
• Must be available to work 20 hours per week on a flexible shift (4 hour shift minimum) and work 2 weekend shifts a month
• Must be able to attend 3 consecutive days of PAID training, typically on a Monday-Wednesday from 9am-3pm at our office in Daytona
• Must be able to speak and read English fluently

Pay

• $14 - $20/hour Depending on the needs of our Clients
