We have an opportunity in our Wheels and Brakes Shop located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Our Wheels and Brakes technician uses knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on assigned aircraft Wheels and brake components to produce a reliable, quality, airworthy product on a budgeted cost and turn time while providing the highest quality workmanship.
Essential Functions include:
- Willingness to be trained to use drill press, pneumatic rivet machines, pneumatic press, and other large equipment to troubleshoot and repair aviation Wheels and Brakes components
- Complete all required paperwork related to repairs performed
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area daily
Requirements include:
- Mechanically minded
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to understand written/verbal instructions in English
- Meet physical requirements: primarily standing role, lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs routinely, visual acuity to inspect components and repairs, manual dexterity to use hydraulic presses and pumps, and various types of hand tools and torque wrenches
