The Town of Chatham is seeking an administrative and technical professional to become the first Wetlands Permitting Coordinator in the Conservation Division of the Department of Natural Resources.
Under general supervision of the Conservation Agent, the Wetlands Permitting Coordinator plans and coordinates the comprehensive review of projects and applications through the permitting process, serving as the first point of contact, involving other Town Departments as necessary. This position provides administrative support to the Conservation Commission, including agenda preparation, filing public notices and legal advertisements, and issues follow up actions including OOC’s, RDA’s, COC’s and AR’s.
This benefits and pension eligible position is 40 hours per week and is covered under the Chatham Municipal Employees Association. Starting biweekly salary is $2,505.60 - $2,607.20 ($65,145.60 - $67,787.20 annually) depending on qualifications and experience. 3% Cost of Living Salary Increase scheduled for July 1, 2024.
