We are currently looking for a:
Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe - Security Screener
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deter individuals from bringing illegal, prohibited, or unauthorized items into the park.
- Respond appropriately in the event of adverse reactions from a bag owner.
- Interact with guests to create a positive “wait” experience by engaging in upbeat conversations.
- Answer common questions and concerns about the parks bag search procedures.
This position is seasonal starting the end of May 2024 to Labor Day 2024 (can be flexible with start and end dates).
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Able to communicate and receive direction/instructions in English
- Able to stand on feet for prolonged periods of time
- Capable of working outside: rain or shine, hot or cold
- Capable of lifting 25 lbs and bending / squatting occasionally
