Overview
The Regional Human Resources and Talent Coordinator is accountable for administering various aspects of the Human Resource field, this including but not limited to; recruiting, onboarding new hires, developing retention strategies, provides staff assistance in the administration of personnel policies and procedures, maintaining employee files and leading all facets of the hiring process for the region that may include; processing request offers, onboarding new hires, coordinating background checks, physicals, drug screens, etc...
Responsibilities
• Serves as a member of the HR Council.
• Manages the human resource function by interviewing, selecting, evaluating, disciplining and terminating personnel or recommending such action.
• Working with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
• Manages all facets of the hiring process for the region including but not limited to: scheduling interviews, processing request offers, background checks, physicals, drug screening, orientation and onboarding.
• Coordinates employee personnel changes including promotions, demotions, transfers, layoffs, and recalls.
• Recruits for positions throughout the organization. • Partner with Hiring Managers and Local HR to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process.
• Maintain employee files
• Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of the recruitment process.
• Actively participate in all recruitment related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
• Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related subjects WITH a minimum of two years' experience in human resource field. OR
• Associates Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or related subjects WITH a minimum of four years' experience in the human resource field. OR • High School Diploma/GED WITH a minimum of eight years' experience in the human resource field.
Minimum Work Experience
• Minimum of two years' experience in human resource field.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and professionalism.
• Have demonstrated computer skills in Windows and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team based project experience.
