Performs plant floor troubleshooting, training, problem solving, and root cause analysis for welding and joining processes.
Responsible for all welding. Responsible for laser welding, brazing, projection welding, drawn arc welding and brazing, mechanical joining (self-piercing rivets), sealer/adhesive dispensing processes.
Performs plant floor troubleshooting, training, problem solving, and root cause analysis for welding and joining processes.
Requirements:
Must be able to work various shifts / rotate shifts, and weekends as required: will start on first shift (6am to 4pm) then will switch to Night Shift (4pm-2am).
Must be able to troubleshoot, maintain and setup automotive robots, welding controls and joining equipment (Fanuc, WTC welders, SCA dispensers)
Experience with laser welding and laser brazing processes (Precitec Seam tracking, Scansonic ALO3 laser head)
Fully PC capable (Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Power Bi, Word, Access).
Will need to be adaptable and willing to learn/do more than just spot welding
Attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently after training
