Welder/Fabricator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions using precision tools such as micrometers
- Fabricate metal components using various techniques, including cutting, bending, torching, and shaping
- Weld components together using MIG, TIG, or stick welding methods
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications
- Operate power equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Knowledge of pipe threading techniques is a plus
- Understanding of welding codes and standards

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
