Welder / Fabricator
Summary
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time Welder fabricator team member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Responsibilities
- Working with a team of others, produce life safety systems
- Operating semi-automatic welding machine
- Crane and Forklift operations
- Mig hand welding repair
- Quality assurance
- Organization of products and materials
- Regular maintenance of welding station upkeep
- Work within a multitask setting while still meeting deadlines
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Welding experience, mig preferred
- Regularly lift up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs
- Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift
- Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus
- While industry experience is encouraged, it is not required in order to be successful in this role.
- Willing to train
Work Setting
Sterling Heights, Michigan
Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm
OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
