Welder (Pinwheel)

Position Overview: As a Welder specializing in MIG and Flux welding on a pinwheel positioner, you will play a crucial role in our fabrication process. Your expertise in welding small pipes, flanges, and nozzles will contribute to the production of precision components for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding Operations:

   • Utilize MIG and Flux welding techniques to join small pipes, flanges, and nozzles accurately and efficiently.
   • Operate and set up welding equipment on a pinwheel positioner to achieve optimal weld quality.

2. Pinwheel Positioner Expertise:

   • Demonstrate recent experience and proficiency in welding on a pinwheel positioner.
   • Ensure proper positioning and alignment of components for precision welding.

3. Quality Control:

   • Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
   • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any deviations and implement corrective actions.

4. Material Preparation:

   • Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, fitting, and aligning components.
   • Interpret and follow engineering drawings and welding symbols.

5. Safety Compliance:

   • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
   • Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) during welding operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder with recent and relevant experience in MIG and Flux welding on a pinwheel positioner.
• Proficiency in welding small pipes, flanges, and nozzles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with different metals and alloys commonly used in welding applications.
