Welder Fitter

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Welder Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipe Welder at our company, you are expected to set up your own machine, fabricate and repair simple components, perform pipe installations and repairs, and carefully observe workplace safety rules and standards. Our ideal candidate has more than five years of experience with TIG welding of stainless steel. We also prefer you to have ample experience with schematics and blueprint reading. Salary is based on skill and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform simple pipe welds and repairs
• Set up, maintain, and break down welding equipment
• Reference blueprints and schematics to ensure component specifications
• Maintain an orderly, safe workplace

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate or training preferred
• 5+ years of welding experience preferred
• High level of proficiency in TIG welding
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Steel-toed boots and appropriate safety gear (Mico provides yearly boot allowance)
• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Occasional weekend availability preferred
