Job Description
Purpose of Position
Utilize Pat Mooney up-cut saw, 350 P welders, band saws, chop saws, shear, brake, end mill, router, lathe, tube bender, cope machine, shop drawings and your math skills to produce architectural elements, awnings, canopies, trade show exhibits and various other products for our clients.
If you do not know how to use this equipment, don't worry we'll train you how to safely use all of our equipment. We have had very good success training individuals with limited to no experience. The keys to those success stories were strong math skills, good attitude and a strong desire to work in a shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency of behavior by getting along with coworkers and bringing value to the team
- Work safely and promote safety
- Complete custom fabrication and assembly
Minimum Training and Experience Required
- Dependable and on time everyday
- Ability to be "hands on" to accomplish mechanical tasks
- Experience with a variety of hands tools
- Understand basic construction and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to measure accurately
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
- Ability to add and subtract fractions
