As the Weld Lead, you will serve as a leader in the Weld Department on 3rd Shift, providing day-to-day direction to achieve Ventrac objectives. This position ensures the quality production of products in a safe and timely basis to meet production standards while maintaining welding duties.
Hours: 10pm-6:30am Sun-Thurs
Wage: $25+/hr, wage will be determined by experience and qualifications.

What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Ventrac, you will be responsible for:
- Drive performance and motivate the weld team
- Ensure weld department production goals and quality standards are met. Workstations include: robot welders, manual welders, maintenance
- Collaborating with the supervisor to delegate and direct general tasks for workers
- Performing quality control inspections for finished goods
- Drives and support continuous improvements; actively looks for opportunities to improve methods, material flow, safety and the work environment
- Utilize the Ventrac Network for routings and schedule
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Some technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
- Maintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years weld experience with the ability to read/understand procedures preferred
- 3+ years leadership experience preferred
