The Opportunity: The RN Supervisor with Venza Care at Falkville Health Care Center is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that patient care is delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability. You will be the linchpin in our efforts to provide superior healthcare services and the mentor for our nursing team as they look to you for leadership and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for response.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation.
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Alabama.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or an associate degree in nursing (ADN) with a commitment to earning a BSN within a specified timeframe.
- Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach to nursing care.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment.
