Gunstock Mountain Resort is now accepting applications for the Race Ops Crew for the winter season. The Race Ops Crew assists with the daily set up/breakdown, maintenance, and other various aspects of Gunstock's competition operation with the highest level of safety, efficiency, and guest service. Assisting with computer registration for the NASTAR race series. Weekend availabilty a must. Hours are 8 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Constantly able to operate radio controls, hand tools, power tools, vehicles, machinery and equipment used for the set up, maintenance, and breakdown of competition areas
- Ability ski/snowboard at an intermediate or advanced level up to 6 hours/day on all terrain in variable weather conditions and while transporting up to 25 lbs
- Required to move equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 25lbs regularly, up to 50lbs frequently, and up to 100lbs occasionally.
- Ability to constantly inspect, detect, and assess work areas, supplies, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
