Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Dog Walker.

Details:

- Number of Dogs: Two
- Duration of Walks: 30 minutes each
- Location: Dogs reside in the same building on Rapps Dam Road in Phoenixville.
- Walk Times: Saturdays and Sundays, with time slots between 7-8am, 12-3pm, and 6-8pm.

Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience with dog walking or pet care is preferred. Familiarity with handling different breeds and temperaments of dogs is advantageous.

Physical Fitness: Ability to walk for extended periods, sometimes in various weather conditions, and handle dogs of different sizes and strengths.

Reliability: Dependability is crucial in this role. Dog walkers must consistently show up on time for scheduled walks and be responsible for the safety and well-being of the dogs in their care.

Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and understanding their specific instructions or concerns regarding their pets.Animal Handling: Proficiency in handling dogs safely and securely, including leash management and controlling multiple dogs if required.

Attention to Detail: Being attentive to the dogs' behavior and health during walks, noticing any signs of distress or illness, and promptly reporting any concerns to the pet owners.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by building rapport with clients, addressing their needs and preferences, and ensuring a positive experience for both the pets and their owners.

Knowledge of Local Area: Familiarity with the local neighborhood or area where the walks will take place is beneficial for efficient navigation and ensuring the safety of the dogs.

Transportation: Access to reliable transportation to and from the designated walking locations, ensuring punctuality for scheduled walks.

Flexibility: Willingness to accommodate varying schedules and adapt to changes in the walking routine, as well as being available for occasional additional or emergency walks when needed.

Love for Animals: Genuine care and affection for animals, with a commitment to providing them with a safe and enjoyable walking experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week
