Sullivan Scrap Kitchen is looking for a part-time dishwasher to join our team. We are a small independent restaurant with a focus on providing our guests with a unique and delicious dining experience, while reducing food waste and improving sustainability in the kitchen. Located in Uptown, we work directly with local farmers and ranchers to source the majority of our ingredients to create a seasonal menu. We draw on our culinary teams differences in experience, background, and thought to develop a unique menu that reflects our diverse community.

Sullivan Scrap Kitchen was featured in a CBS Report on food waste, awarded a Head of Table Award from Bon Appetit in 2021, and won best Hamburger in Denver from Westword 2020.

We are looking for a candidate that is quick, efficient, and attentive to details. They will need to be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be on their feet for up to 8 hours. We'd like your values to align with our values of sustainability in our food practices, community, and team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a prep, or cook kitchen position.

We are looking for someone who can work 2 shifts a week. Schedule may be flexible for the right person.

Saturday 9:00am-4:30pm

Sunday 9:00am-4:30pm

Duties include:

• Washing all dinnerware, glassware, and flatware quickly and efficiently using 3 bay sink and small commercial dishwasher.
• Washing all kitchen equipment with care and precision.
• Returns all dried dishes to their correct place.
• Assist with prep cooking.
• Maintains a clean and orderly workstation at all times.
• Follows daily cleaning schedule.
• Ensures all local and Servsafe safety and cleaning standards and procedures are followed by all team members.
• Assists in front of house duties, when needed.
• Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
• Follows opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
• Consistently contributes to team goals and ensures others are actively contributing as well.
• Assists all team members with any questions or concerns as they arise.
• Brand ambassador.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 16 per week
