Overview: As an Opening Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and preparation of the Wedding Venue building before events. Your primary duty is to oversee the set-up and readiness of the venue, ensuring it meets the standards expected for a successful wedding ceremony and reception. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage time and resources.
The Opening Manager will work closely with the Morning Coordinator in preparation for the ceremony and reception. The Opening Manager will communicate with the Morning Coordinator regarding any questions about set up or the opening checklist. The Opening Manager also serves as a contact point for couples and their families before the event.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in venue management, event setup, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with couples, vendors, and Morning Coordinator.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Ability to frequently maneuver light furniture, occasional ability to handle equipment up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work weekend mornings (9 am to 12 pm)
