Job Description:
Wedding and Events facility is seeking an individual that is skilled in both Event Sales and Event Coordination. The individual selected should be willing to execute monthly sales goals and support the efforts in overseeing the planning and execution of cultural ceremonies and receptions, corporate events and any social events. This position requires an individual who can support the team and its clients in various functions during peak times and needs.
Job Duties:
Follow up Leads daily
Tour property, Prepare estimates
Follow up after tours, maintain contact with prospects
Prepare and execute contracts
Collect Deposits/Payments
Enter and maintain all data
Set and attend catering meetings with clients
Serve as "Day of Coordinator" for Weddings and other events is required
Meet with Supervisor weekly to discuss sales progress/strategy/planning
Participate in Social media marketing/email campaigns/Blogging
Planning & Management of assigned Open House events
Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Ensures proper guarantee counts, final room layouts are obtained in a timely manner
Requirements:
Background in the wedding industry
Desired Skills & Knowledge: 1-2 years experience or training in marketing or sales preferred
Wedding Coordination and/or Event Planning experience is preferred
Must be available to work weekends
Reliable Transportation
High school diploma or College education in hospitality, tourism & recreation

Compensation: Base Pay Plus Commission on every new sale. Details will be provided during the interview
