WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT & DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with development and implementation of the firm’s web marketing strategy to increase leads, enhance online client services, identify additional Digital Marketing channels, attract traffic to the firm website, and promote the firm’s online presence.
• Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the firm’s website.
• Designs and develops new websites and landing pages for the firm’s various websites. Also implements updates to the firm’s various websites on an ongoing and efficient basis.
• Collaborates with firm attorneys and other contracted writers to source new content for blogs to be posted on the firm’s websites; publishes same regularly.
• Analyzes online statistics to identify opportunities to optimize performance. Helps drive strategy, insights, feedback, and more to improve the website/SEO results of the firm.
• Assists the Marketing Director in planning and executing a Digital Marketing budget that optimizes the spend on each campaign.
• Provides the leadership team and the Marketing Director analytics and feedback to help drive marketing decisions.
• Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in online marketing.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Highlighted requirements for this position include:

• Thorough understanding of website design and administration.
• Fluency with markup and programming languages including HTML, XML, Java, and CSS.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress core functionality including custom theme development; API’s, hooks, and filters; security best practices; and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to learn other software.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

• At least one (1) year of proven experience as a web developer or similar role is required; three (3) years relevant experience preferred.
• Associate's degree or two years of relevant vocational school required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated employment stability.
