Job Summary:

As a member of this team, you will be immersed in website strategy to ensure our web pages tell the right stories and that only high-quality content is published. You need to have a working knowledge of both SEO and incorporate keyword research and on-page optimization into your daily work, as well as UX, keeping in mind how our target audience will naturally navigate throughout the site.


You will work within the marketing team to develop and maintain Kings III’s website and related digital properties, connecting users to the information, resources, and support they need. Your overarching goal will be to work to identify, quantify & prioritize opportunities to Kings III's overall website experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with digital marketing team and third-party vendors to manage design & content strategy across Kings III's website, including:
    • Creating new webpages
    • Updating/consolidating webpages
    • Formatting content
    • Image evaluation and adjustment
    • Configuration of web assets aligned to defined verticals within our target audience
    • Quality assurance review
    • Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX), ensuring content is discoverable, accessible, and engaging.
    • Conducting audits and analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
    • User testing
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools to track key metrics and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Research and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform content strategy and production.
  • Stay informed about web accessibility standards and ensure content is compliant with accessibility guidelines.
  • Utilize market research to ensure that the voice of the customer, competitor offerings, industry trends, and overall marketability are leveraged to identify and exploit opportunities in a timely manner
  • Explain/teach website strategy to stakeholders: consult with stakeholders on their content goals (user journeys and site maps, goals, SEO, etc.) to ensure optimal customer experience and achievement of KPIs

Additional responsibilities that speak to the agile team here and the importance of a ‘can do/let me take that on attitude’ - While not necessarily your core responsibilities, someone in this role can expect the obligatory ‘other duties as required’ to come up from time to time.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 4+ years writing and editing websites or other marketing content: Deep knowledge of English grammar and writing for the web best practices, including SEO and keyword research
  • Previous website UX experience (certification highly preferred)
  • Experience in the B2B space highly preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • A passion for and awareness of digital trends to bring forward within marketing approach
  • Experience with utilizing CMS platforms (WordPress preferred
  • Knowledge of web development best practices and HTML/CSS code
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with website user testing
  • Experience using Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Experience with monday.com a big plus
  • Self-motivation with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A naturally curious mindset, focused on tracking and using data to identify what’s working and what’s not and pivoting as necessary
