The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all aspects of our Web systems are aligned to the Ravago framework and to ensure compliance, accuracy and optimization.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
1. Perform Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 migrations for remaining global BU.
2. Establish connectivity between the following platforms:
a. GA4
b. Google Ads
c. LinkedIn Insights
d. Other Social Media as requested
e. Google Search Console
f. BigQuery
g. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing
h. Other platforms as requested
3. Merge acquisitions websites into the standard Ravago analytics framework.
4. Continuously improve the Ravago Web Analytics framework and develop a procedure to ensure all 68 (current) global BU are aligned with this framework
5. Develop new tags and triggers in accordance with good software development practices and in alignment with the needs of BU marketing teams.
6. Review analytics data for the purposes of:
a. Developing advertising segments
b. Identifying cross domain browsing patterns (and collaborate with the appropriate BU to determine the best course of action)
c. Evaluating overall site health
d. Evaluating overall BU digital performance
7. Conduct regular search engine optimization (SEO) audits
a. Collaborate with BU content authors to make recommendations to improve search performance
b. Collaborate with web developers and content managers to resolve technical SEO issues (missing attributes, etc)
8. Serve as the expert resource in SEO keyword research globally
a. Collaborate with BU content creators to ensure SEO best practices are employed in all content generation including:
i. Keyword research
ii. Competitor research
iii. Meta tagging
iv. Hreflang attribute management
9. Periodically meet with BU marketing teams (content, product) to:
a. Review analytics and advertising performance over time
b. Understand short, medium and long term customer engagement goals such as:
i. Digital advertising
ii. Social media posts
iii. Email campaigns
iv. Customer journeys
c. In accordance with 9b 1-4 develop tags and triggers to ensure metrics are captured for each engagement.
10. Stay abreast of data privacy laws - GDPR for example and make recommendations to ensure that Ravago is minimizing risk in this area.
11. Continuously stay ahead of the digital marketing technology landscape and make recommendations to Ravago that will enhance our brand, sales and revenue.
12. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications
• Bachelor Degree in Web Design, Business Systems or related field. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 1-3 years related experience preferred
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of commercial operations
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Innate sense of urgency that provides proactive and consistent work
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe file creation & management.
• Maintains professional presentation, attitude, and behavior toward others
