Web Content Specialist - Golf Club Fitter/Manufacturer

• JOB SUMMARY: The nation’s #1 GOLF CLUB fitter is looking for an experienced Web Content Specialist to round out their Digital team. This Specialist is an integral part of the Club Champion marketing team and will directly support the Brand and Business Development Marketing efforts. We are seeking someone fluent in website content management, CRO and Website Design. Experience in using Joomla (Wordpress, Drupal or other similar web platforms) Salesforce CRM, and Google Analytics. Sample projects range from the strategic to the very operational, including supporting the acquisition and retention strategies, evaluating growth opportunities, business planning, customer segmentation, and regular review of related key performance metrics. The deliverables include website building, SEO, analytics, website content management/updates, detailed analytic reports, and custom performance analysis. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to thrive in a startup-like environment. Moreover, this person will excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action. The role will be 75% WEB CONTENT focused and may require basic web development support and analytics reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

• Works within the Content Management System to update the site, including building or updating pages, updating images, etc.
• Manages promotional calendar and updates website to reflect current promotions (for US and all International sites)
• Develop strategies to convert leads and regularly conduct A/B tests.
• Update content and occasional documents on customer web and Intranet web pages weekly in Kentico using templated pages and WYSIWYG editor
• Edit images to insert on web pages or email - touchups, resizing, text overlay.
• Maintains international website content by entering and reviewing multiple country sites (3), posting and editing content as required.
• Conducts QA and coordinates review and approval of all new content, including the coordination of translation of content and in-country validation before publishing
• Regularly audits the Club Champion website, checking for broken links, expired content, and adherence to the writing and brand guidelines
• Strategize, plan, and create content to support special initiatives
• Maintains calendar entries of upcoming digital content and deadlines
• Project planning, and analytics reporting cadence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED(an equivalent amount of training, education and experience may be considered)

• 3-5 years experience in Joomla or similar website platform
• 3+ years SEO strategy and technical implementation
• 3-5 years of experience in a content management, production, or digital project management positions
• Ability to perform with minimal direction or supervision – Must be self-motivated.
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Agency experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and writing
• Understanding of fundamental design principles
• Artistic and creative with a strong grasp of typography, color, and space.
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience – preferably in Website Development, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
• Demonstrated knowledge and previous work using the CMS/Technology experience, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal
• Proven experience using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Experience with tracking, reporting, and monitoring of key performance indicators. Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager. Fluent in the search landscape, including performing competitive analysis, keyword development, tracking tools, and reporting tools
• Experience with CMS platforms, CRM platforms, HTML, CSS, SQL, SEO, SEM, and data management with analytic reporting
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and multiple projects at one time
• Detail-oriented and quality-oriented with the ability to communicate with conviction and the desire to grow and develop
• Proficiency in the standard G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite —a creative eye for branding; graphic design abilities is a plus
• An interest in golf is a plus
