Summary:

At Equitable, digital is integral to our marketing ecosystem and future growth strategies. Working in our CMS (a Sitecore 10.2 environment), the Web Content Manager will be responsible for collaborating with internal LOB stakeholders and external vendors to update pages and page components on the public-facing website Equitable.com to deliver best-in-class user-centric digital experiences.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to propose solutions to submitted requests, as well as a basic understanding of web best practices such as SEO and information architecture.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day management of sections of Equitable.com from web publishing to ongoing optimization.
  • Acting in a consultative role, provide strategic recommendations to business partners on best practices for page builds and site navigation, based on site learnings
  • Manage multiple priorities concurrently, including self-executed deliverables and requirements executed by other teams.
  • Partner with Equitable IT and UX teams to identify and train on new developments in our CMS; identify bugs and opportunities to fix or enhance components that will improve efficiency and functionality
  • Develop web pages in our content management system and move finalized content to production
  • Other duties as assigned

The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$101,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in a web publishing role with internal and external stakeholders to deliver user-centric best-in-class digital experiences
  • Strong communication and partnership skills; able to collaborate through complex problems with a diverse team across departments, organizational levels, and with external partners
  • An ability to negotiate solutions arising from differing points of view and/or competing objectives
  • A can-do attitude, creative problem-solver
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong program and project management skills; ability to anticipate what’s required to achieve business outcomes
  • Ability to work in and influence across a highly matrixed, largely remote workforce
  • Highly collaborative, with ability to lead and influence others with confidence and emotional intelligence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Basic understanding of web best practices including IA, SEO and accessibility with a strong desire to build skillsets in these areas
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics

Program Management (M0260): Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.
