Position Summary:
SIG SAUER, a leading firearms manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Web Content Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Web Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the online presence of SIG SAUER ACADEMY by ensuring the accuracy, effectiveness, and overall quality of our website content. If you have a passion for firearms, exceptional editing skills, and proficiency in Magento, HTML, CSS, Adobe Suite, and graphic design, we would love to hear from you.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
*Utilize your CMS expertise (Magento/CoreWare/WordPress preferred) to manage and update product listings, pricing, descriptions, classes, events and more.
*Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain compelling and engaging content for SIG SAUER ACADEMY and SIG SAUER'S website, ensuring that it aligns with our brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
*Edit and proofread website content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in grammar, punctuation, and style.
*Develop regular email campaigns for SIG SAUER Academy customers.
*Optimize Web Content for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve organic rankings and drive organic traffic.
*Work closely with the graphic design team to create visually appealing web assets, including banners, images, and promotional materials.
*Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and optimized for various channels.
*Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and innovative ideas for the website.
Education and/or Experience:
*Proficiency in Magento, Coreware, WordPress, Eloqua, HTML, CSS, Adobe Suite, and graphic design.
*Proven experience as a Web Content Editor or similar role.
*Excellent command of written and verbal English, with exceptional editing and proofreading skills.
*Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practices.
*A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality content and user experience.
*Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
*A passion for firearms and a good understanding of the industry would be an advantage.
