Role: Web Content Editor
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site)

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Content Management
· Update and maintain content on the school district website.
· Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of incoming information.
· Optimize website pages for SEO, including meta tags, headings, and alt tags.
2. Collaboration
· Collaborate with the communications team to align Web Content with overall district messaging.
· Work closely with different departments, school administrators, and other stakeholders to gather and update content.
· Work closely with graphic designers, developers, and other team members to ensure that all website content is visually appealing and user-friendly.
3. Design and Layout
· Optimize the visual appeal and user experience of the website.
· Optimize image assets for online use.
4. Quality Assurance
· Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify broken links, outdated information, and other issues.
· Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards and district policies.
· Test the website for mobile web access and ease of use.

- JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
- Experience using Finalsite Composer, Blackboard WCM, or other educational CMS.
- Experience managing academic sites.
- Graphic design skills.
