Form of workWe are seeking a senior PHP developer to analyze, document and develop OS Track web based PHP code to convert the existing OS Track application to a new Web based application. Work must be done on-site. The candidate must be skilled in PHP development and be able to translate business requirements into a technical design and then develop the PHP code. Experience with a database management system, software development, and PHP code is required, as is experience with javascript and jQuery. Professional level expertise in PHP code development is critical to project success and candidates should be prepared to submit a portfolio of previous documented work efforts for review. A minimum of 5 years professional coding with the indicated languages is required.Technical Design Document mapping business requirements to technical components PHP code, tested on development system and moved onto production system Knowledge transfer to Client senior web developer Other duties/deliverables as assigned. Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based application systems. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least at least 2 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., HTML, Java, etc.) Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
