Salary: $70,000 - $150,000 per year

Work Remote with 2 days a week in our Chicago office location.
You will be responsible for maintaining our websites and providing strategic recommendations for updating, building, and creating content for websites and marketing email campaigns. The Digital Content Strategist plans, tests, and implements high-performing web content and email campaigns into goals of stakeholder engagement and online giving. In addition, the Digital Content Strategist optimizes existing content to maximize online donation conversion, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO).

Job Details

You will be responsible for maintaining our websites and providing strategic recommendations for updating, building, and creating content for websites and marketing email campaigns. The Digital Content Strategist plans, tests, and implements high-performing web content and email campaigns into goals of stakeholder engagement and online giving. In addition, the Digital Content Strategist optimizes existing content to maximize online donation conversion, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Create and maintain successful metrics, reports, and dashboards for email and website activity
- Develop email programs (campaigns and automations) to deliver defined performance goals
- Analyze email and website activity to identify stakeholder intents and interests
- Research and maintain best practices in email deliverability, design, and effectiveness
You should know some of the following:
- WordPress, CMS, HTML, CSS
- Web optimization, SEO, plugin updates, performance, page layout structure, website integrity and compliance, digital asset management
- Copy editing and content strategy, ability to shorten long-form copy for web, social, and email marketing campaigns
- Email marketing campaigns such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Constant Contact
- Creating effective email and website communications with measurable engagement and goal conversion
- Creating and maintaining successful metrics, reports, and dashboards for email and website activity
- Developing email programs (campaigns and automations) to deliver defined performance goals
- Analyzing email and website activity to identify stakeholder intents and interests
- Researching and maintaining best practices in email deliverability, design, and effectiveness
