Job Description
The Program Manager will assist the department in achieving programmatic success statewide. Under the supervision of the Associate Directors, this position will assist with planning, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive system designed to provide continuous and systemic evaluation of the Supportive Services Programs. The Program Manager will conduct evaluations of performance and provide corrective actions to ensure achievement of desired outcomes. Decisions and recommendations made by this position frequently have a significant impact on the program's operation, services, and accountability.
Essential Duties:
- Develops internal systems to provide statistical information to management that is necessary for planning and reporting, and contractual compliance.
- Oversee the collection of research and the documentation necessary to identify and codify quality standards for service delivery.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of operational management reporting information and data sourcing for the program.
- Provides program performance reports to supervisors.
- Develop and implement a structure that ensures consistency between volume/outcome goals and optimal design for improved client flow.
- Provide direct service, support, and programmatic training to the staff to ensure compliance and quality within the program.
- Establish and maintain relationships with businesses, agencies, and organizations in the communities to meet all the community needs and to ensure that services are not duplicated.
- Prepare reports, including areas of concern and recommendations for corrective actions when needed.
- Participate in the determination of organizational policies regarding such issues as participant eligibility, program requirements, and program benefits.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports, such as budgets, personnel records, or training manuals.
- Review program files to ensure completeness and that goals and objectives are being met, this would include that job retention verification follow-ups are also met;
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports to the program funding source;
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA degree in Social Services or related field OR
- Equivalent work experience on a year-for-year basis in marketing, individual educational/ employment assessments, job placement, accessing social and educational services, and case management.
- Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Two (2) years of experience in budget development and management
