JOB SUMMARY:             
            
Supply expert knowledge, marketing and sales support for Undercarriage and Ground Engaging Tool (GET) product lines to support corporate sales and gross profit objectives.            
            
  • Initiate and conduct inspections and evaluations of GET and Undercarriage products utilizing CTS Pro and Bucket Pro. Use these inspections to recommend repairs and maintenance of products to maximize the products life and the value for the customer.
  • Consult with the Product Support Sales Team, Used Equipment Manager, Machine Sales Team, and Rental Asset Manager to properly match Undercarriage and GET to soil/job conditions for enhanced machine performance.
  • Assist the inventory team in maintaining proper inventory levels and mix to meet machine requirements and exceed sales objectives.
  • Provide updates and training to Machine Sales and Parts Sales Team Members as needed.
  • Monitor Ohio CAT’s Marketing and Merchandising programs for Undercarriage and GET product offerings to increase sales and gross profit. Provide market-driven feedback to adjust programs accordingly.
  • Partner with the Product Support Management Team to identify, write, and monitor territory-specific “Focus” programs, and develop flat rate and parts pricing to complement the programs for Undercarriage and GET products.
  • Collaborate daily with the Product Sales Teams to develop and sell key customers' Undercarriage and GET products at acceptable sales and gross profit levels.
  • Act as a liaison between Ohio CAT departments, customers, and CAT concerning product problems, trends, opportunities, and customer acceptance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:            
             
High school diploma or equivalent required.            
3-5 years of heavy equipment preferred, Undercarriage and GET (Ground Engaging Tools) experience a plus.            
Experience building strong customer relationships.            
Both verbal and written communication skills.             
Strong problem-solving skills.            
Must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and work well in a highly pressured, fast-paced environment.            
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.            
Industry experience is a plus.            
Good computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.            
Highly energetic, outgoing, and able to handle multiple projects at a time.              
Knowledge of accounting helpful, strong math skills.            
           
               
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:            
        
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
