Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all trust new business submissions, prepares internal paperwork/new account packages for client review and execution, and manages expectations (e.g., timeframes, paperwork requirements and the end-to-end process flow).
  • Works with multiple internal partners including Senior Portfolio Oversight Managers, the Office of Chief Fiduciary and Market Trust Executives to secure required approvals.
  • Coordinates complex funding strategies, e.g., SAM assets (real estate, LLC/LPs, closely held stock), controlled stock, external assets and internal transfers with operations partners and advisors.
  • Monitors accounts until activation and investment enrollment across multiple platforms e.g., IAP, PAS, Alternative Investments.
  • Partners with the team in the handoff of the relationship to trust administration once onboarding has been completed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; JD strongly preferred.
  • Prior trust experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of (or the willingness and ability to learn) estate planning concepts, trust products, platforms, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the underlying nature of a client's estate plan through appropriate interface with clients, financial advisors, and outside legal and tax advisors.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, well organized and possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to shift priorities at a moment’s notice.
  • Solid team player.
