Brief Overview of Position
Wayfair Logistics Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming product and materials, ;picking, staging and moving and arranging product, from back of house to the salesfloor and/or managing, organizing and retrieving product.
Essential Functions
- The Logistics Associates will be responsible for unloading trucks and moving inventory within the Back of House operations.
- Unload and Receive inbound furniture and other product which will require manually moving large, heavy goods
- Use store technology to document pertinent product level information, including condition, quantity, and location of store product.
- Monitor order management systems for all in store and online orders that will be processed in the Back of House operations
- Work effectively with peers, leads and management
- Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75lbs unassisted and moving product 150+ unassisted or via a team or equipment lift
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/back of house environment for majority of the shift.
- Comfortable with scanning technology
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma Req
- Less than 1 year Retail Experience, with exposure working in back room operations Preferred
- Less than 1 year Experience in Distribution and Logistics is a plus.
