About the Role
The role of a Wax Specialist is to represent European Wax Center in a professional and consistent manner while upholding the company's core values. Your primary goal is to educate guests on the benefits of consistent waxing, while also utilizing your skin care expertise and our exclusive product portfolio to recommend positive skin care solutions. You are able to be confident in your independent work space while being part of a diverse team of individuals who share in their excitement and passion for revealing beautiful skin. Most importantly, you help shape the future of European Wax Center and support our guests in feeling gorgeous, radiant, and confident in their own skin.
Responsibilities:
- Providing the highest quality wax service while maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude with each and every guest
- Educating all guests on EWC’s 4 Steps to Gorgeous Process and the importance of consistency
- Utilizing our in-center promotions and exclusive product portfolio to teach guests how to care for their skin
- Partnering with the front desk and utilizing EWC terminology/scripts to create a memorable and consistent guest experience
- Always maintaining a thoroughly clean wax suite and adhering to all state, county, and federal sanitation and health guidelines
- Meeting or exceeding center and individual goals as determined by Center Manager
- Adhering to the schedule assigned by management per your availability and to the reservation book maintained by the front desk
- Finding coverage to ensure as few guests as possible are impacted by time off requests
- Arriving to work on time and in appropriate dress code
- Keeping open communication with the management team to stay on top of current promotions and center needs
- Following all policies and procedures as outlined in employee handbook
Requirements
- WEEKEND AND MORNING/EVENING AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
- Hold a current Esthetician or Cosmetology License
- A passion for all things beauty and skin
- Willingness to learn and ability to receive and implement feedback
- Comfort in performing all body and facial waxing services offered at EWC
- A positive, friendly, upbeat, and personable demeanor
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fun, fast-paced environment
- A professional appearance at all times
- A strong desire to work with others and engage associates and guests with energy and enthusiasm
- Any prior sales experience preferred
