High school diploma or GED is required for this position. Preferred candidates should have 1 year of experience in potable water / sanitary sewer treatment or related field. Desirable candidates may be currently LDH Certified, but not required for a successful career with our company. Desirable applicant will be highly technical, and detail orientated. Ability to efficiently troubleshoot issues and make repairs in the field is a plus. Basic computer skills are required. Applicant will frequently work in industrial settings.

Primary Duties:
- Inspect all equipment at each treatment facility on a regular basis for proper operation
- Collect and record data from treatment equipment onto field log forms in a legible manner
- Collect field water samples to ensure compliance with LDH regulations
- Maintain proper levels of treatment chemicals at facilities to ensure proper treatment of water
- Record and interpret flow meter, amperage and voltage readings/data from equipment at each treatment facility
- Perform preventative maintenance duties such as changing oil, filters, belts, grease equipment, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues and make repairs to equipment
Secondary Duties:
- Maintenance of potable water treatment distribution lines through regular flushing of mains
- Reading water meters for residential neighborhoods
- Pulling sewerage pumps and unstopping clogs
- Digging up and repairing water leaks
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- TWIC card desired but not necessary
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Ability to communicate field issues to team members
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Dependable attention to detail and time management
- Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with clients
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds (testing equipment)
- Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time on project work sites, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
