As a Water Treatment Specialist, you will be required to have knowledge of processes and products as it relates to residential, commercial, and industrial Water Treatment. You will need to be able to travel to branches and customer locations to train on all aspects of product mix, including equipment sizing, installation, selection, as well as troubleshooting and repair. The Water Treatment Specialist will drive and help obtain market share by traveling with and supporting field salespeople in their respective territories as well as assist with technical and informative inquiries from employees and customers as it relates to product categories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travels to customer location to present company products, services, and pricing information in a professional manner
• Submits appropriate paperwork to management such as expense reports and call reports in accordance with company requirements
• Maintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts, territory potential, workload analysis, call programs, and delivery/sales routes
• Collects and reports competitive information to management
• Attends training activities and trade shows to present information regarding company products and services
• Recommends the addition of new products and the modification/deletion of present products to the company’s offering, as appropriate
• Provides professional-level support on product information related to functionality, performance, and price
• Recommends products and services that effectively meet customer needs
• Provides accurate information for documenting customer orders
• Applies advanced-level product knowledge to assist customers
• Assists in the field training of any salesman as requested
• Performs other related duties as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Water treatment: 3 years (Preferred)
• Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
