Shift: Compressed Work Week 12hr shift Rotating days and nights

Pay rate: $25.00

Location: Boise, ID

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

+ Responsible for working in a team environment involving the acquisition, distribution, collection, treatment, and quality control of UPW Water systems for the site.

+ Ensures a continuous supply of high-quality water for the various areas and in the event of a system failure, must be competent to restore the water service as soon as possible.

+ Maintains applicable discipline knowledge, such as water quality regulations, and hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and chemical principles.

+ Identifies abnormal operating conditions and high usage of UPW, Reclaim and the wastewater treatment systems.

+ Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies.

Requirements:

+ Minimum - Relevant degree or appropriate Wastewater Treatment or Distribution certifications/licensing.

+ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with one year of water or wastewater experience.

Preferred:

+ Good troubleshooting experience.

+ Understanding of manual and automated treatment systems.

+ Understanding of water purification processes.

+ Understanding of quality standards and regulations associated with water treatment.

+ Understanding of methods and precautions associated with handling and storing chemicals associated with water treatment.

+ Ability to repair and work with pumps, vacuum systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and well pumps.

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
