Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Water Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water mitigation and damage restoration. This role requires managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a lead water tech , you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead water mitigation, damage restoration, and reconstruction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop project plans, including scope, timeline and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of other technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns throughout the project.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine the extent of water damage and the required restoration work.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing solutions to mitigate impact on project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Water Tech in water mitigation, damage restoration, or related field.
- Strong understanding of construction, water mitigation, and reconstruction processes and techniques.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or relevant industry certifications (IICRC in water damage restoration, etc.) is highly desirable.
