As a Water Mitigation Technician, you play a critical role in our company, working collaboratively to address water damage, operate specialized equipment, and ensure the successful restoration of affected properties.

As a Water Mitigation Technician, you play a critical role in our company, working collaboratively to address water damage, operate specialized equipment, and ensure the successful restoration of affected properties.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Document safety hazards and water damage with photos and moisture readings.
- Operate water extraction equipment to remove excess moisture from homes.
- Assess salvageable material and dispose of non-salvageable material.
- Properly set up, monitor, and take down drying equipment with care.
- Thoroughly document drying progress with pictures and notes regarding humidity and moisture levels.
- Provide excellent customer service through clear and accurate communication with homeowners.
- Organize and clean equipment and vehicles at the end of the day.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (upwards of 100 lbs.).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Proficiency in the safe use of power tools.
- At least one year of experience in Water Mitigation (preferred).
- Customer service skills (preferred).
- High school diploma (preferred).
Additional Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory record.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess knowledge of the disaster restoration or construction industry.
- Proficient in using mobile software to enter data.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication with key staff.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday | On-call schedule.
