SUMMARY 

Responsible for performing analyses of information contained in various databases and reports (e.g. APRISe, CIRs, PIRs, Hazard Reports, Confidential Human Factors Reports, Audit reports, Environmental Reports, etc.) to detect trends within WASS support operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Develop charts, graphs, reports, etc. based on trended information.
  • Assist in the investigation and analysis of safety trends.
  • Prepare departmental safety reports and presentations as requested.
  • Assist in the development of information technology necessary for trending.
  • Compile post-production graphics (including photographs, videos, and meta-data captured by sUAS) for presentations and 
    analysis.
  • Compile information, data, statistics, etc. for use in determining trends.
  • Provide predictions and forecasts based on data and trended information.
  • Attending training necessary to acquire knowledge of industry terminology, acronyms, etc.
  • Practices safety and quality conscious behavior in all processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and enter into QMS/SMS databases the following. CIRs, Injury Reports, On-Site Safety Meetings, APRISe Events, 
    and Monthly On-Site Audits, etc.
  • Develop and maintain records for trend analysis in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Prepare consolidated reports from all sites when required or desired by company management, Department of State, and/or 
    interested parties.
  • Ensure data processing, data retention policies, and security measures are complied with and maintained for the protection 
    of proprietary data.
  • Coordinate with site safety personnel to ensure the process of collection, analysis, distribution, and follow-up to events are 
    reviewed, recorded, analyzed, and communicated.
  • Develop data collection forms and methods (databases) to support event reporting programs to ensure the necessary safety 
    information is collected and processed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the production of the departmental newsletter.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Point of Contact (POC) as assigned by the WASS Quality, Safety and Security 
    Manager.
  • Position requires a Secret clearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required:

  • A.A./A.S. degree from a college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.

Preferred:

  • B.A./B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.
  • Prior industry training in one or more: quality, safety, database creation and management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in an analytical field. 
  • FAA Part 107 sUAS certificate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Outlook).

Preferred:

  • Experience with process design and database design and management.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience in the aviation industry in the areas of QMS and/or SMS.
  • Experience operating under the CFRs with specific focus on FAA, OSHA and DoD.
  • Experience with statistical analysis methods.
