Job Responsibilities:
- Warranty management processes
- 3rd party contract review
- Monitoring controls (internal cost control, dealer warranty performance, regional reviews, field audit)
- Controls over processes impacting key metrics
- Sublet (threshold, review and approval process)
- Dealer training
- Warranty hotline (training, approval process)
- Handle parts warranty (over-the-counter items)
- Communicate with other departments
- Handle the chargeback/appeal process
- Handle the billing process (recoveries process, reports etc.)
- Handle dealer payments (payment processing, retail state reimbursement)
- Claim processing (automated v. manual approval)
- Complete account reconciliations
- Creation of recalls
- Manage status of recalls
- Report to regulators
- Communicate with dealers, parts distribution, parent company etc.
- Handle warranty reserves
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Warranty Policies & Procedures, Service Bulletins and Internal Operation Guidelines
- Knowledge of warranty related programs (Good Will, Certified Pre-Owned, Rental Cars)
- Experience with reports (exception, analysis, and special reports)
- Knowledge of how to obtain VIN history
