Warranty Parts Specialist

Vantage Mobility has a great opportunity for someone who can read blueprints and schematics, can weld, fabricate and follow directions. All tools and equipment are provided.

This is a small 3-person team, within the Warranty and Warehouse department.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage warranty program from the collection of incoming orders, through fabrication and delivery of all items to the stock room for shipment.
• Responsible for coordinating all specialty items through completion in respective departments (i.e. painted flares, powder coated parts, harnesses, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with the expectation of being forklift certified.
• Manufacture assemblies.
• Occasionally inspect manufactured parts for accuracy and completeness.
• Good communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Inventory control.
• Able to ship parts when needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: (Functional competencies)

• Mechanically skilled.
• Able to weld.
• Able to use various shop tools assemble and manufacture components of all types and variety pertaining to our product line
• Ability to speak, read and understand English
• Geometric Dimension and Tolerance knowledge preferred
• Able to create and document build processes for components not currently documented
• Able to build and maintain custom fixtures for use in training sessions
• Basic computer skills
