Warranty Manager - Charleston Division

The Warranty Manager position is primarily responsible for meeting with homeowners to determine areas of concern and coordinate repair schedules. Once repairs are completed, verify accuracy of subcontractor workmanship.

JOB DUTIES

Gather and assess information to make appropriate warranty determinations

Manage escalated and large warranty issues for closed home, including insurance/litigation

Process warranty requests according to SOP

Perform/manage necessary repairs for homeowners

Provide a high level of customer service

Work with trades to ensure timely and professional results

Looks for ways to track repeat claims for better quality during build

Assist management and team with departmental process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive knowledge of residential construction including practices, procedures, tools and equipment, materials, etc.

Must be an effective communicator with strong verbal, written, and listening skills

Must be able to speak clearly and persuasively in all situations

Must be able to focus in a fast-paced environment

Must have proven problem-solving abilities and be solutions oriented.

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in customer and warranty experience
