Our Store Engineering Department is responsible for new store construction, store remodeling, equipment upgrades, and maintenance. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, detailed orientated individual to join our team as a Warranty and Return Specialist. This position will focus on proper procedures and practices to assure that Store Engineering is collecting all warranty to which we are entitled. Work with Procurement and vendors to establish and maintain warranty programs. Develop programs to provide guidance for Retail, Store Engineering Technicians and co-workers in matters of warranty recovery
Daily tasks include:
- Identify all labor and part warranty sources to update and maintain warranty manual
- Assure all in-house warranty practices meet or exceed vendor standards
- File all claims, monitor payment and report warranty recovery performance
- Work with Vendors to establish program guidelines and collect warranty dollars
- Train Store Engineering and Retail coworkers on submission of completed warranty work/repairs and assessment of returns
- Develop return policy and procedures for store, technician, project and new store return items
- Evaluate/monitor data on returns to identify opportunities to increase accuracy of job plans, parts ordering and project execution
Qualifications:
- Minimum two year degree in business related field or at least one year of relevant experience
- Detailed orientated
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of sales and use tax, collection practices and contractual agreements
- Excellent typing and 10 key punch skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Capable of being productive with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated in learning new skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to provide specialized training and coaching to retail, Store Engineering coworkers, technicians and vendors
- Knowledge of Maximo, OnBase, Service Channel, Kardex Power Pick, and SAP is preferred

Work Schedule: This position will work Monday – Friday typical business hours. This position will work 40 – 45 hours plus per week including an occasional weekend.
