Warranty Admin

Interstate Utility Trailer, a full-service commercial semi-trailer dealership, has an excellent opportunity for a Warranty Administrator in our Columbus OH service center. We are looking for someone that has experience in the Truck or Trailer industry working in the parts or warranty department.

Major responsibilities:

• Filing warranty claims
• Invoicing
• Input employee's time into a spreadsheet for Payroll
• Responsible for fuel usage reports
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet
• Respond to customer telephone inquiries concerning repair service and assist with the management of response to equipment breakdowns.
• Review with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager all open work orders assisting with the assignment of work orders.
• Attend daily production and scheduling meetings to coordinate work orders, parts orders production scheduling, and incoming workload to assist in the establishment of workload completion goals.
• Communicate all repair orders and parts requirement information to the service and parts departments

Qualifications:

• Strong Computer skills
• Good written and oral communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Strong listening skills as they relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
• Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience in truck and trailer repair is a plus
• Self Motivated
• Must be able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
• Reaching with arms and hands
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work independently
