Warper Operator

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Prepare warp beams for the assembly machine by winding multiple ends of yarn at specific lengths.

WORK DESCRIPTION

-Keep the area around the machine and frames clean and safe to work in

-Thread yarns through reedVerify that four yarns are running per dent on the second reed

-Unload empty bobbins from carts

-Place bobbins onto carts according to catch order

-Weigh waste bobbins from assigned carts and record on batch sheet

-Operate knotter and/or tie knots by hand

-Complete paperwork as instructed

-Fill warp beams to a specified length

-Assist in any area requested by manager at any time

SPECIFIC ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

-At times quite hot

-At times quite cold

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-High school diploma or G.E.D

-Not color blind-Drug free

-Stand for long periods of time

-Use scissors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
