Betts Truck Parts & Service is in search of a Sales Support Associate. In this role, you will collaborate with our outside sales representatives and directly assist the Warehouse Lead in maintaining accurate and well-organized inventory. This position is adaptable and may evolve based on current requirements. The Sales Support Associate will also collaborate with the sales team to promote special sales and service offers to specific customers and potential clients.
Betts is a family-owned company in business for over 150 years. We specialize in parts and service work for suspensions, brakes, wheel ends, and more on a variety of vehicles. We currently operate 8 locations on the West Coast, our truck repair services include laser alignments, steering and drivetrain repairs, Bendix retrofit anti-collision safety system installation, DOT and BIT inspections, leaf spring repair and replacement, truck suspension repair, truck axle and trailer axle repair, brake repair service, hydraulic hoses, custom u-bolts, and more!

Responsibilities
- Pull and deliver products to customers in the North territory each week as needed
- Take stock inventory while delivering to North territory customers
- Take stock inventory from established “Maintenance” Accounts locally
- Write orders in Karmak as needed
- Fill in for Inside and Outside positions while team members are on vacation or leave
- Promote sales and service specials to targeted customers and prospects
- Supports Sales team selling Spring, Suspension, Steering, Brake/Wheel End and Service
- Works with the Sales team to clean up and organize customer parts room
- Supports Sales team in retrieving products to and from customers
- Adoption and implementation of Phase Zero
- Utilization and support of Sales-I
- Provide feedback on and support company product(s) and service initiatives
- While in the office, act as a warehouse support
- Work with warehouse supervisor to complete daily tasks while working out of branch such as but not limited to inventory cycle counts, pulling parts from pick lists, receiving and stocking shelves, core counting, and shipping parts
- Other job duties as assigned by the Manager and/or departmental needs
- 2 - 3 years or more of experience in the Automotive or Heavy Duty industry
- Knowledge and/or experience with ERP (i.e. Karmak)
- Able to accurately visually identify and/or measure all make parts
- Knowledge of a variety of parts, vendors, and services offered, and correct measurement/application of parts
- Excellent organization skills and ability to maintain a strategic calendar
- High level of interpersonal relationship-building skills
