Job Title:Warehouse/Machine Operator - Mail Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Warehouse/Machine Operator to join our team, with a focus on mail services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in mail sorting and packaging. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong ability to work with machinery in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mail sorting machines to process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are running smoothly and address any issues promptly
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail for distribution
• Package mail items according to specified guidelines and prepare them for shipping
• Maintain accurate records of mail processing activities and inventory levels
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and keeping the workspace clean and organized

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in a warehouse or mail services environment
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot various types of machinery used in mail processing
• Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic maintenance tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling mail items
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages when needed
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation and warehouse activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
