Duties:
- Stock and organize inventory in the warehouse
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack or other equipment
- Fills out receiving reports.
- If employee holds proper Fork Lift certification, he/she may operate.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Build and assemble products according to specifications
- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from inventory
- Fabricate materials as needed
- Perform basic mechanical tasks as required
- Repetitive use of hands is required.
- Employee will be standing all day.
- Responsible for ensuring aisles and walk ways are clean and free from debris
- Ability to multi-task several incoming and outgoing truck loads at any one given time
- Ability to create receiving logs and load sheets
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to pull or push a pallet jack
- Ability to pull or push loaded carts onto truck
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment including extreme temperatures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift continuously to complete daily tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and procedures
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
