Position:Breadline Picking
Scheduled: Sunday - Wednesday 8:00 AM - 6:30PM
Wage: $18.75 per hour
Responsibilities of this role:
- Picking/packing bread orders
- Operations runs on an assembly line pick process and is fast paced
- Working in ambient temperature, range could vary between 55-75 degrees
- On your feet and moving for the duration of your shift
- Bending, reaching, pushing, walking
- Pushing/pulling stacks of bread to assigned pack area
- Pushing/pulling stacks of bread from trailer to staging area
- Loading full and empty bread trays onto trailer
- Ability to push/pull 50 lbs. or more (on wheels).
- At all times, follow all SOP’s while also adhering to GMP policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned to include but not limited to; stamping/coding product, trailer loading/offloading (no PIT required), general warehouse clean up.
Qualifications:
- No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
- Flexible to work overtime preferred
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required
- Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
