Warehouse Worker

• Title: Warehouse Picker/Packer
• Contract: 12+ Months (with potential to convert into Perm.)
• Schedule: (08:00:AM - 06:00:PM); Mon - Fri
• Location: Birmingham, AL 35233
• PR: $17 per hour on W2

Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts to move materials and products
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss
- Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Collaborate with team members and warehouse management to optimize warehouse operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory control
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures in a warehouse setting

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $17.00 per hour
