Warehouse Operator
Location: 1301 W Magnolia, Iowa Park, TX 76367
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure.
- Successfully pass a basic math skills test.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with extended periods of standing.
Responsibilities:
- Temporary workers play a crucial role in supporting various manufacturing groups, aiding in the facility's operations until full-time hires are made.
- Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. | Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Starting work assignments will be provided at the end of the first-day orientation, and new workers should be prepared to start within the next 24 to 84 hours, often beginning with the night shift.
- Temporary workers may be required to move between shifts or assignments based on business needs.
Key Tasks:
- Utilize gas/battery-powered forklifts in the Warehouse and Manufacturing areas to load, unload, and move rolls of material.
- Make periodic data entries into the computer system (SAP).
- Manually stage rolls for pickup at the scales area.
- Attention to detail and a high level of situational awareness are mandatory.
